39 year female with recurrent oligodendroglioma. Post-surgery/ RT / TMZ in 2009.Recent MRI shows an enhancing lesion. FDG PET MRI was done for evaluation.
MR spectroscopy in the same case discussed at page no.96 showed increased perfusion, also showed an increase in choline: creatine and choline: NAA ratios supporting the diagnosis of neoplasia more than radiation effects.
In another patient treated for recurrent right frontotemporal oligoastrocytoma developed an enhancing lesion in follow up MRI. Simultaneous PET/MRI was done for evaluation.
MRS in the patient discussed on page no. 96 showed no significant increased choline: creatine or Choline: NAA ratios favoring radiation necrosis.
69 year female with raised serum PSA having T2 hypointense lesion in B/L peripheral gland.
A) Axial PSMA PET MR fused B, D ) Axial and sagittal high-resolution T2 and C)ADC map reveals a T2 hypointense nodular lesion with increased PSMA uptake and restricted diffusion.
MRS in this patient with Ca prostate shows increased Choline+Creatine: Citrate ratios favoring malignancy.
