Metastatic Oesophageal Carcinoma


Case History:

41 year old male with progressive dysphagia and weight loss.


Findings:


(A) (C)Axial and sagittal sections at the level of thorax showing metabolically active asymmetrical circumferential wall thickening involving the mid-thoracic esophagus with dilatation of the proximal esophagus (white arrows).

The metabolically active node is seen in the coeliac axis group with avid left pulmonary nodule (arrowheads): metastatic Oesophageal Carcinoma
