Focal Nodular Hyperplasia


Case History:

52 year old female with liver mass detected on routine ultrasound screening.


Findings:

Axial sections at the level of liver reveal a relatively well-circumscribed mass in segment VI appearing hyperintense on axial T2 FS images (A) with no significant FDG uptake on PET MR fused (B) and mildly hyperintense on corresponding DWI (C) image. Post-contrast VIBE scans in arterial (D), Porto-venous (E) and delayed (F) phases show arterial enhancement which is persistent on delayed scans s/o FNH.
