Benign Mucinous Neoplasm Of Pancreas


Case History:

72 year old female with a suspected pancreatic lesion on routine ultrasound


Findings:

Sections of the abdomen show a complex cystic lesion in the uncinate process of pancreas appearing hyperintense on T2W (A) and ADC (E) images with intracystic T1 hyperintensity (B) suggesting mucinous contents. There is no significant contrast enhancement (C) or FDG uptake (F). HPE: Benign Mucinous Neoplasm Of Pancreas
